These thoughts just hit me today. They are all utterly true.
you've been working at a computer store too long when:
You know the number to activate Windows XP (1-888-571-2048) by heart, and can recite the IVR instructions from memory,
You know exactly how much a wipe and reload, plus drivers and data transfer costs: 249.10, with tax,
When you start to answer your cell with the company's name,
and when you know how to speak perfect technical gibberish to explain why a customer's computer isn't finished yet.
